The school was built in 1889 with a beautifully manicured garden and clean school facility. This is a k-8 institution with a boarding school for students 4-8th grade. Tuition and boarding is about $33,000 USD per school year. Approximately 20 boys share a common sleeping quarter and a bathroom. There is a sister on the floor to take care of day to day needs of the boys such as laundry and illness.

The international academy prepares second language students for the mainstream classes offered at another Fairmont campus. Initially students spend 50% of the time on either campus. Upon passing the English proficiency test, the students will move to the main campus on Sequoia Street in Anaheim. School will arrange housing (homestay) for students. Tuition and housing and other fees are approximately $34,000 for the first year. The International program is about $4,000 more than the regular program.
